sorry for the hiaus!! we are getting our gyest comic submited here :D gogetaroomie.com
...and so ends the relationship. But what's this? Parting on pleasant terms?! No way! I'm sure it will go back to resentment once the shock wears off haha.
Waaaaahhhhhhh!!!! Mega sad faceeee D,=
@Joemon8: It's okay! It wasn't meant to be. But there are plenty of other fish in the sea for them both.
Just started reading, and I like the comic thusfar =D
But I gotta say...this feels like the most pointless breakup ever. I'm sure Sam is smart enough to figure out that's she's probably just afraid of her own feelings, and could get her to open up with some more patience.
I can also see Lisbeth getting depressed, but trying to hide it <.<
I can also see her and Sam eventually getting back together once Lis figures out she doesn't need to be emotionally stagnant despite having a best friend she's married to, and a daughter. Some people ARE open to the idea, and Sam obviously was one of those people. =/
but then I figure, that's probably the point of the breakup xD to push Lis in that direction that despite being a "Tough" girl, she still has some growing up to do herself.
@Mystearen: The point of the relationship was mostly to show how dating life was like for Lisbeth and Donald. It was mostly to provide some background for the up coming chapters, but it certainly transformed into something I hadn't expected but definitely something I can work with.
Goodness when people say goodbye during break ups, it makes it unbearably sad D:
When I read this page I was a little taken aback by the sudden turnaround in Sam's rather easy going acceptance of the fact that she's just been dumped, especially as she seemed so rightfully shocked, hurt and angry on the previous page but then I read your editorial and found myself wondering if this is in fact Sam pretending Lez was no big deal to her either. XD
@skyangel: Ah yeah I guess I was tired of reading super dramatic break up. Sometimes it isn't like that, and I thought I'd show it. But I am pretty sure it'd hit them in a bit.
@piccolodian: Bet it hits the moment they've got a closed door between them. It's easy to hold things together in front of someone else. Much harder the moment one is alone.
